Looking for a rewarding opportunity where you can make a difference in the patient experience? Join the Nutritional Services team at Geneva General Hospital!

Geneva General Hospital is seeking Hostesses/Hosts to join our team. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys helping others, providing excellent customer service, and working in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

As a Hostess/Host, you'll help ensure patients receive the correct meals, accurate menus, and attentive service based on their physician-prescribed diets.

Make a Difference Every Day

This position is about more than delivering meal trays. You'll interact directly with patients and help ensure their meals meet their individual dietary needs.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Assist patients with daily menu selections according to their physician-prescribed diet.
  • Deliver and collect meal trays.
  • Communicate patient needs to the production team.
  • Work closely with nursing staff to address patients' food service needs.
  • Monitor and maintain supplies on assigned units.
  • Prepare supply orders and deliver supplies to units.
  • Complete required documentation and daily assignments.
  • Follow safe and sanitary food-handling practices, including HACCP standards.
  • Maintain assigned areas in a clean, safe, and sanitary condition.
What We're Looking For

Education:

  • No minimum education requirement.
  • High School education preferred.
  • Coursework in Nutrition or Diet Therapy is a plus.

Experience:

  • No previous experience required.
  • Previous hospital food service or diet office experience is preferred.
  • Computer literacy is required.
  • Microsoft Office experience is a plus.
