Job description

Position Summary
The Design and Build Foreperson manages a residential installation crew of 3-5 associates. This position requires strong organizational skills, maintaining daily worksheets accurately, and communicating with clients. The Design and Build Foreperson requires the ability to manage and lead crews.
Duties and Responsibilities Include
Essential Duties:
  • Works on high-end residential properties, tending to the landscape, and gardening needs of clients
  • Constructs retaining walls, installs various hardscape/softscape materials, and constructs paver patios and walks
  • Demonstrates a solid horticulture and bed care skills background
  • Knowledgeable of ornamental trees, shrubs, and perennials
  • Assists with peak season operations
  • Duties and responsibilities may change with or without notice
What You'll Bring to the Team
  • Minimum of two (2) years of experience in residential landscape installation
  • Write, read, and comprehend written and verbal job instructions/information
  • Knowledge of materials such as natural stone, timber retaining walls, pavers, brick, and perennial plant materials
  • Working knowledge of Bobcats and other landscape construction equipment
  • Basic understanding of irrigation systems and repairs
  • Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record per Company requirements
  • Knowledge of essential job functions and responsibilities

  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to problem solve
  • Meet all physical requirements of the position
  • Pass all drug and alcohol screens as required by Company policy and, if applicable, required by DOT regulations
