JOB SUMMARY:

Responsible for delivering best in class guest experience by serving food and/or beverage to guests. Must have a passion for hospitality, providing attentive and friendly service while greeting guests with intention to ensure guest satisfaction. Maintains knowledge of UHU menus and suggests offerings. Interacts and ensures all guest needs are attended to and accurately handle financial transactions.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Ensures that guest receive prompt, friendly and personalize service. Suggestively sells food and beverage items by possessing knowledge of menu items and ingredients. Ensures that orders are taken and placed accurately, checks on tables, provide condiments, replenish drinks and/or bread.
  • Ensures adherence to the Nevada State Liquor Statutes and food safety handling state requirements.
  • Maintains positive guest satisfaction by answering questions, accommodating special requests, appropriately handles to complaints to the guests' satisfaction and/or solicits assistances from leadership team as necessary.
  • Operates cash register accurately and rings all items into the POS system. Follows all established cash handling procedures.
  • Pre-buses tables, maintains area, organize and clean service stands and complete side work.
  • Understand and actively participate in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities by following established UDX policy, procedures, training, and team member involvement activities.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

  • Individual Contributor

  • Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws.

QUALIFICATIONS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills, and/or abilities (KSAs) required.

  • Must be able to work a flexible and varying schedule based on business demands.

CERTIFICATIONS, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:

  • Any local or state required certifications or licenses.

EDUCATION:

  • High school diploma or GED is preferred.

EXPERIENCE:

  • 2+ years of food server experience is required; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
