Work Environment

Located at our state-of-the-art Surgical Center in Watertown, this role will require on-site work within a collaborative and energetic team. Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct detailed patient assessments and develop personalized treatment plans in collaboration with attending physicians.
  • Perform comprehensive physical examinations and order diagnostic tests when necessary to facilitate accurate diagnosis.
  • Administer a variety of injections, including trigger point and joint injections, to relieve patient pain effectively.
  • Prescribe medications and provide evidence-based pain management recommendations tailored to individual patient needs.
  • Monitor and meticulously document patient progress, making adjustments to treatment plans to ensure optimal outcomes.
  • Educate patients and their families on pain management techniques, disease processes, and wellness strategies.
  • Maintain thorough and accurate patient records in compliance with healthcare regulations, ensuring confidentiality and quality of care.
  • Participate actively in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss patient cases and collaborative care strategies.
  • Oversee the overall health and well-being of patients, promoting effective communication regarding treatment plans and progress.
  • Engage in peer discussions and research activities to advance clinical knowledge and improve practice standards.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a Physician Assistant in clinical settings such as hospitals, clinics, or emergency departments.
  • Strong foundational knowledge in pain management and related therapeutic practices.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, coupled with a strong ability to engage and educate patients.
Preferred Experience
  • Previous experience in pain management or a closely related specialty is preferred.
  • A background in acute care, internal medicine, or urgent care is highly desirable.
  • Familiarity with healthcare regulations and best practices for patient care.

Compensation and Benefits

The compensation for this full-time Physician Assistant position ranges from USD 140,000 to 160,000 annually, commensurate with experience. In addition to a competitive salary, we offer a comprehensive benefits package including health insurance, retirement plans, paid time off, and a potential sign-on bonus of up to $10,000.
