Description
The Catering Driver is responsible for delivering Home Run Inn Pizza catering orders safely, accurately, and on time while providing exceptional customer service. This role represents the Home Run Inn Pizza brand off-site and ensures every guest receives a positive, professional, and seamless catering experience.
In this role, you will also be working as a Phone/Cashier will answer phones, take customer orders, provide accurate and timely information and make appropriate menu recommendations. Deliver the correct product to each carry-out guest; process payments for all carry-out orders.
The job will be responsible for cashiering in the mornings, and be able to drive for our catering orders around the Chicagoland area.
Schedule: Must be available to work 10:30am-4pm shifts from Monday-Friday, along with open availability on the weekends.
This is a part time job offering 4-5 shifts per week.
Catering Delivery & Setup
  • Safely deliver catering orders to customers
  • Review each order for accuracy before leaving the restaurant.
  • Load and unload catering equipment, food, and beverages following food safety guidelines.
  • Ensure presentation is clean, professional, and aligned with brand guidelines.
Customer Service
  • Provide friendly, courteous, and professional service at each delivery.
  • Communicate with customers upon arrival, confirm order details, and address needs or concerns.
  • Maintain a strong knowledge of the Home Run Inn menu and catering offerings to answer questions when needed.
Safety & Compliance
  • Follow all traffic laws and drive safely at all times.
  • Maintain a clean driving record and provide updated driver documentation as required.
  • Adhere to all food safety and sanitation standards, including proper holding and transportation temperatures.
Operational Support
  • Assist with catering production, packaging, order staging, and restaurant tasks when not on delivery.
  • Keep vehicle clean, organized, and stocked with delivery supplies (

Requirements
  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • Strong Customer Service Skills
  • Basic Math Skills
  • Enjoys working on a team in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication, listening, and time management skills
  • Ability to stand approximately 90% of the workday and freely access all areas of the locations
  • Be able to lift/move up to 50lbs.
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record required.
  • Access to a reliable, insured vehicle (if using personal vehicle; franchise may provide vehicle depending on location).
