Pharmacy Technician – Prior Authorization / Call Center (On-Site, Aurora/Denver, CO) Location: Aurora, CO 80045 (On-site; near Denver) Schedule: Monday–Friday 8:00 AM–6:00 PM (40 hrs/week) Pay: Not provided Summary Now hiring a Pharmacy Technician for an on-site, high-impact role supporting prescription processing and prior authorization workflows. This Pharmacy Technician position is ideal for someone with at least 1 year of pharmacy tech experience who is comfortable on the phone, strong with data entry, and confident using pharmacy systems and basic computer tools. You’ll take inbound calls from members and providers, support order entry and documentation, and route clinical questions to the pharmacist—while maintaining accurate, compliant records in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

Responsibilities Handle inbound calls from members, providers, and other callers; provide professional customer support Support prior authorization intake and processing; capture required details and documentation Perform pharmacy-related data entry , documentation, and record maintenance (accurate and timely) Assist with prescription workflow support including order processing and coordination Transfer clinical questions and judgment calls to the pharmacist per process guidelines Support shipping/dispensing coordination and assist walk-in patients as needed on-site Maintain compliance with site procedures, privacy expectations, and quality standards Use computer systems for word processing, spreadsheets, and workflow tracking as needed Support other duties assigned by the site leader/pharmacy leadership Qualifications Active Colorado Pharmacy Technician license required (state license) 1+ year of Pharmacy Technician experience required Verifiable High School Diploma or GED required Ability to work on-site in Aurora, CO (near Denver) Strong customer service skills (written and verbal) with a professional phone presence Comfortable in a high-volume environment (calls, documentation, and multitasking) Strong attention to detail and accuracy in documentation and data entry National Pharmacy Technician Certification (CPhT) is a plus (not required) Prior experience with call center support, healthcare services, PBM/pharmacy operations, or authorization processes is a plus Apply today if you’re a licensed Pharmacy Technician looking for steady weekday hours and a role that combines pharmacy operations, prior authorization support, and inbound call handling in an on-site setting.
