Starting at $21.50/hour

Primary Function:

Provide exceptional guest service and manage guest communication on behalf of all Resort departments. Support total operations of Glenwood Hot Springs Resort by providing Resort information to all guests and accurately recording all reservations and guest requests.

Reporting and Accountability:

Call Center Agents report directly to the Call Center Supervisor and in their absence to the Assistant Resort Hotel Manager or Resort Hotel Manager.

Authority:

The Call Center Agent has the support and authority necessary to carry out the responsibilities and tasks described in this job description and other responsibilities of the Lodging department, as delegated by the Resort Hotel Manager.

Physical Requirements:

  • Adequate physical agility to perform the physical tasks required to operate the Lodging department front desk including ability to operate a computer, type and stand for long periods of time up to several hours at a time.
  • Able to push, pull, carry and lift up to 30 pounds
  • Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing and follow verbal or written instructions in English.

Educational Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent

Other Requirements:

  • Capability to learn and follow all Lodging department Front Desk policies and procedures accurately
  • Positive attitude with guest satisfaction as primary goal
  • Adequate computer skills to be able to learn and perform necessary department computer tasks (data entry and retrieval in hospitality system application.)

Work Hours:

Since the Lodging department is open twenty-four hours a day seven days a week, the Call Center Agent’s work hours and days must be flexible, including nights, holidays, and weekends, to meet the needs of the Lodging department.
