Overview

Join Our Team as a Home Equity Manager!

Are you ready to take your career to the next level in a community-oriented environment? FORUM Credit Union is looking for a dynamic Home Equity Manager to play a key leadership role on our Mortgage Operations team. You’ll lead the day-to-day operations of our Home Equity function - driving performance, improving processes, and developing a high-performing team.

The Home Equity Manager is responsible for overseeing the processing and closing functions of home equity products, including training and developing staff, managing pipeline performance, and ensuring compliance with credit union and investor guidelines. This role also maintains an active pipeline while supporting strategic initiatives across the department.

This position is onsite at our Corporate Headquarters in Fishers, Indiana.


Responsibilities

What you'll do:
  • Lead the Home Equity team to manage workflow, meet production goals, and ensure service excellence
  • Analyze pipeline data to identify trends and drive operational improvements
  • Oversee processing, ordering, and closing activities to ensure compliance with policies and investor guidelines
  • Implement process enhancements to improve efficiency and the member experience
  • Perform processing, closing, and funding functions as needed to meet turnaround expectations
  • Partner with the Vice President – Mortgage Operations to support vendor management
  • Assist in hiring, training, and motivating team members to achieve goals
  • Provide coaching, recognition, and communication to foster strong team performance and collaboration

Qualifications
