Job description

About GreenSky:

GreenSky, LLC, headquartered in Atlanta, is a leading technology company Powering Commerce at the Point of Saleยฎ for a growing ecosystem of merchants, consumers, and banks. GreenSkyโ€™s highly scalable, proprietary and patented technology platform enables merchants to offer frictionless promotional payment options to consumers, driving increased sales volume and accelerated cash flow. The GreenSkyยฎ Program is operated on behalf of, and financing is offered and made by, federally insured, federal or state chartered financial institutions, which leverage GreenSkyโ€™s technology to offer loans to primarily super-prime and prime consumers nationwide. Since GreenSky's inception, nearly 6 million consumers have financed nearly $70 billion of commerce using GreenSkyโ€™s real time โ€œapply and buyโ€ technology.

Position: General Manager, HELOC

Location: Sandy Springs, GA/Hybrid (3 days in office, 2 days remote)

Overview:

GreenSky is bringing home equity lending to the point of sale. Homeowners hold trillions of dollars in tappable equity, and larger home improvement projects are a natural fit for a HELOC, yet almost none of that lending happens at the time the homeowner and contractor agrees on a project. We are building a business that changes that, and we are looking for a General Manager to lead it.

The GM will own the P&L and strategic direction for GreenSkyโ€™s HELOC line of business, taking it from early launch to a multi-billion-dollar origination platform. This is a rare opportunity to build a new business inside the nationโ€™s largest point-of-sale home improvement financing platform, with an established merchant network, brand, and technology foundation already in place.

  • Owns the P&L and strategic direction for GreenSkyโ€™s HELOC line of business, from launch through scale
  • Aligns and leads cross-functional partners โ€” product, credit, operations, legal and compliance, sales, and servicing โ€” to deliver a market-leading point-of-sale home equity experience
  • Collaborate with Sales to define and execute the go-to-market strategy across GreenSkyโ€™s merchant network, including merchant enablement, training, and adoption
  • Sets business targets and drives performance across the origination funnel: conversion, speed to close, and customer experience
  • Recruit, develop, and lead a high-performing team as the business grows
  • Ensures the business operates in full compliance with applicable regulatory requirements and internal standards
  • Represents the business with executive leadership and external partners

  • Demonstrates 12โ€“15 years of experience in consumer lending, fintech, or financial services, including leadership of a business line, product P&L, or new business launch
  • Brings hands-on experience launching or scaling digital financial products
  • Operates as a data-driven leader with strong command of funnel metrics, unit economics, and disciplined prioritization
  • Leads effectively across functions, aligning product, operations, legal, and commercial teams behind shared goals
  • Builds and develops high-performing teams in fast-moving, ambiguous environments
  • Communicates clearly and persuasively with executive audiences and external partners

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience in home improvement or point-of-sale finance
  • Knowledge of home equity or mortgage origination (underwriting, closing, servicing)
  • Experience with merchants, partners, or B2B2C distribution channels
  • Experience operating in AI-forward digital lending environments
