Job description

Real estate paralegal/legal assistant applications being accepted. Office is located on South Avenue, Staten Island, New York.

At least two years of real estate experience is required.

Salary will be determined based upon experience. Medical benefits available. Please submit resume with salary requirements, as well as whether medical benefits are required. Full-time applicants only.

Job responsibilities include:

  • Oversee New York City, and New Jersey, house closing files from Contract through closing.
  • Prepare and review documents as directed by attorney.
  • Communicate with clients as requested by attorney.
  • Scan and save documents to practice management software.
  • Prepare invoices for certain transactions.

Hiring requirements include:

  • Experience with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word and Excel), and Adobe Acrobat is required.
  • Experience with Clio or similar law software is a plus.
  • Ability to communicate, work on a team, and adapt to technological advances.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, time-sensitive environment, and multi-task.
  • Must be organized and have ability to prioritize.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
