Job Description

As an Experienced Water, Fire, Smoke, and Mold Mitigation Technician at ServiceMaster Restore, you will play a crucial role in restoring properties affected by water, fire, smoke, and mold damage. You will be responsible for assessing damage, developing mitigation plans, and executing restoration activities to ensure the highest level of client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough inspections of properties to assess water, fire, smoke, and mold damage.
  • Develop and implement effective mitigation and restoration plans.
  • Operate restoration equipment such as dehumidifiers, air movers, and HEPA vacuums.
  • Perform water extraction, structural drying, and dehumidification processes.
  • Execute fire and smoke damage cleaning, including odor removal and content cleaning.
  • Conduct mold remediation, including containment, removal, and treatment.
  • Maintain detailed records of restoration activities, including photos, measurements, and notes.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, team members, and supervisors.
  • Ensure compliance with safety and industry standards.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and maintain a professional demeanor on job sites.
Qualifications
  • Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in water, fire, smoke, and mold mitigation and restoration.
  • Certifications: IICRC certifications in Water Damage Restoration (WRT), Fire and Smoke Restoration (FSRT), and Applied Microbial Remediation (AMRT) preferred.
  • Skills: Proficiency in operating restoration equipment, strong problem-solving abilities, and excellent communication skills.
  • Physical Requirements: Ability to lift heavy equipment, work in confined spaces, and perform physical labor.
  • Other: Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record and the ability to be on call for emergency situations.
