This full-time position is primarily remote, enabling flexibility while maintaining quality engagement with clients. The role combines the benefits of teletherapy with the rich resources of a supportive outpatient office. Regular meetings with the team are conducted to ensure collaborative approaches to therapy, ongoing training, and mentorship opportunities are provided, enabling staff to stay abreast of the latest therapeutic practices and methodologies. • Build and maintain positive, trusting relationships with clients to foster effective communication and treatment outcomes.
• Conduct comprehensive assessments to diagnose mental health disorders, developing tailored treatment plans that reflect patients' unique needs and circumstances.
• Lead one-on-one therapy sessions with clients, employing various therapeutic modalities including cognitive behavioral therapy, solution-focused therapy, and systemic therapy.
• Facilitate group therapy sessions that promote peer support and shared experiences, helping clients to learn from one another in a safe environment.
• Regularly monitor and assess client progress, modifying treatment plans as necessary to respond to changes in their circumstances or mental health status.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to create integrated care strategies, ensuring referrals to specialists when needed for comprehensive treatment.
• Engage in ongoing professional development to enhance therapeutic skills and clinical knowledge.

The primary focus of this role will be on a diverse array of clients, including individuals struggling with anxiety, depression, relationship issues, and trauma. You will provide support to families navigating complex family dynamics and transitions. Additionally, those with substance use challenges will receive specialized attention, tapping into your expertise in addiction counseling. Each interaction will be approached with cultural sensitivity, recognizing and valuing the unique backgrounds and experiences of clients.

• A valid Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist credential (LMFT) in the state of California.
• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a closely related field.
• Demonstrated proficiency in evidence-based practices for substance abuse treatment and management of co-occurring disorders.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to establish rapport and motivate clients toward effective treatment.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, enabling smooth collaboration within the team and with clients.

• Prior experience working in a telehealth or remote therapy setting is highly regarded.
• Expertise or specialized training in addiction counseling is strongly preferred, enhancing our ability to support clients facing dual challenges.
• Previous experience working within diverse communities to embrace cultural competency in therapeutic practices.

The salary for this position ranges between $120,000 and $140,000 annually, commensurate with experience. New team members will also receive a signing bonus of $3,000. We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including:
