As a Distribution Specialistyou will:
Job Description
  • Day-to-Day Responsibilities
  • Develop, implement, and update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to streamline processes, minimize errors, and ensure adherence to consistent work practices across the team.
  • Work with the Software Engineering department to assist in the printing of health plan identification cards.
  • Handle group requests related to reprints, temporary ID card images, and routing cards to different locations, ensuring they follow the established process. Quality
  • Use the distribution software, review all health plan identification cards for accuracy and quality review according to accompanying reports prior to release.
  • Maintain the ticketing system, ensuring timely and efficient resolution of requests, prioritization of tickets, and seamless communication between teams to maintain excellent customer service.
  • Ensure that all benefit materials mailed match the benefits of each group with the appropriate plan descriptions, maintaining consistency and accuracy.
  • Manage daily reports in alignment with departmental quality standards, addressing any issues promptly. • Track and provide turnaround times for ID cards upon request, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of materials. Reporting
  • Review and process daily reports, identifying and addressing any discrepancies, and ensuring accuracy in all records.
  • Provide requested reports to account managers, offering relevant data and updates in line with project goals and deadlines.
  • Provide sample images to team members for review. • Attend biweekly team status meetings and one-on-one meetings, fostering clear communication and tracking team progress.
  • Attend weekly vendor meetings to coordinate efforts and discuss status, ensuring alignment with external partners and internal teams.
  • Regularly communicate with the installation team to provide status on the handling of all New Business, Plan Changes, Plan Additions and Other miscellaneous groups that are tracked as part of the installation process.
  • Update Installation Team logs to document progress made on all New Business, Plan Changes, Plan Additions, and Other miscellaneous groups prior to weekly Installation Team meeting.
  • Attend regular team status meetings and one-on-one meetings, fostering clear communication and tracking team progress.
  • Attend regular vendor meetings to coordinate efforts and discuss status, ensuring alignment with external partners and internal teams. Other

The ideal candidate will have:
Required Skills & Qualifications
  • High school education or equivalent and one (1) year of distribution quality control experience preferred.
  • Basic knowledge of computer software programs in distribution, card quality control and spreadsheet maintenance.
  • MS Office Suite and Outlook proficient

Preferred Skills & Qualifications
  • Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to customer service. • Ability to lift 50 pounds on a routine and daily basis.
  • Ability to file/sort documents with a proficient level of accuracy using ticketing systems, spreadsheets, and other relevant software.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills

Schedule: Monday to Friday 7:00AM - 3:30PM
Pay Rate: $18.00 - $23.00 per hour DOE
