Job description

Position Overview

The Joint Pole Clerk will support Maximize Communication Group in its efforts to execute and administer legal binding agreements within jurisdictions for overhead assets. If selected, you will process and analyze accounting data (Form 2/7) to ensure accuracy of joint pole authorizations to achieve department goals and objectives. You will provide support in communicating, executing, tracking and monitoring forms associated with joint pole authorizations.

Typical Responsibilities:

  • Act as the primary liaison between Maximize Communication Group and member utilities relevant to the joint pole authorization process.
  • Utilize instruction manuals to accurately process and analyze joint pole authorizations.
  • Communicate tactfully and effectively with member utilities, team members, other organizations, and various levels of management in regards to joint use practices.
  • Perform other responsibilities and duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

  • Two or more years of advanced administrative experience supporting a project or program
  • Experience managing data for a project or program which includes gathering, inputting, and reviewing data

Desired Qualifications

  • Knowledge and prior use of instruction manuals and sections pertinent to joint pole authorizations.
  • Knowledge of joint use practices in an electrical utility industry
  • Field experience and/or understanding of field construction activities and procedures, including work order, mapping, and joint pole authorizations
  • Decision making ability, along with problem solving skills
  • Ability to integrate work across relevant areas with attention to detail, develop the business and services to enhance customer satisfaction and productivity, manage risks appropriately, develop and execute business plans, manage information, and provide exceptional service to internal and external customers.
  • Experience with Excel features and Adobe Standard
