Key Responsibilities

As a Licensed Professional Counselor at Oasis Psychotherapy Services, you will:

• Collaborate with primary care providers to identify and manage mental health and psychosocial issues for patients.
• Conduct comprehensive patient intakes and diagnostic evaluations, making informed recommendations to shaping treatment goals and plans.
• Provide targeted therapeutic interventions to patients requiring mental health support, utilizing evidence-based methodologies.
• Determine the appropriateness of ongoing primary care versus referrals to specialty mental health services, ensuring optimal patient care.
• Monitor patient progress through follow-up consultations and adjustments to treatment as necessary.
• Develop individualized relapse prevention plans aimed at helping patients maintain stability and prevent recidivism.
• Assist in recognizing at-risk patients and develop actionable strategies to mitigate potential crises.
• Document patient interactions comprehensively to track progress and inform ongoing treatment plans.
• Educate patients on self-management and healthy lifestyle choices, empowering them to actively participate in their recovery process.
• Maintain ethical standards as outlined in the Code of Ethical Conduct for Clinical Professionals.
• Perform additional duties as assigned in alignment with agency goals.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

• A minimum of a Master’s Degree in Clinical Counseling or a related field.
• A current, valid Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) license in Colorado.

• Ability to effectively assess individual patient needs and develop customized service plans in collaboration with the treatment team.
• Exceptional communication skills for building rapport with patients and professional staff.
• Proficiency in documenting clinical information accurately and responsibly.
• Demonstrated ability to operate independently and make sound clinical decisions grounded in professional knowledge.

Preferred Experience

While not required, bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is preferred, as it enables enhanced communication with a broader range of clients. Additional experience with specific therapy modalities (e.g., cognitive-behavioral therapy, family therapy) will be considered an asset.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of USD 87,000 – 105,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
