Job description

Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Seeking a virtual Speech Language Pathologist for the coming 26/27 School Year. If you are looking for change and flexibility, apply below and begin the next steps for teletherapy!

Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an ASHA-accredited program

• Active Kansas SLP license (or ability to obtain)

• ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred

• Minimum of 2+ years of experience (school-based and/or teletherapy preferred)

• Experience with IEP development and virtual service delivery is a plus

• Strong communication, organization, and time-management skills

• Comfortable using teletherapy platforms and technology

Key Responsibilities


Assessment & Intervention

• Conduct virtual evaluations to assess speech, language, and communication needs

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in a remote setting

• Provide direct teletherapy services and track student/client progress

• Use data to guide therapy decisions and adjust interventions as needed
Collaboration & Support

• Work closely with teachers, parents, and school staff to support student success

• Provide guidance and strategies for carryover in home and classroom settings

• Participate in virtual IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions


Documentation & Compliance

• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of services, progress, and IEP goals

• Ensure services meet state, district, and federal guidelines

• Complete reports, evaluations, and billing documentation as required


Technology & Teletherapy Tools

• Utilize virtual platforms and digital tools to deliver engaging therapy sessions

• Adapt materials and methods for an effective online learning environment

• Troubleshoot basic tech issues and support families with platform use


Advocacy & Education

• Support students in accessing appropriate communication services

• Provide education and resources to families and school teams
