Job description

JOB SUMMARY:
The National FFA Organization is looking for an individual to join our team who can write, translate, and interpret data for diverse audiences and programs. The ideal candidate will be a forward-thinking collaborator with the ability to drive, develop, and execute comprehensive evaluation and assessment plans to support the educational programming and strategic priority areas within the National FFA Organization, which require an individual with a strong combination of analytical skills, intellectual curiosity, and reporting acumen. This role will be responsible for developing, designing, and implementing evaluation and assessment plans and protocols for programs throughout the organization. It involves creating methods to report measurable outcomes and developing actionable recommendations by extracting key insights from complex data sources, rooted in a thorough understanding of program objectives. The ideal candidate will facilitate a collaborative process in designing, coordinating, and implementing multiple evaluation and assessment processes that operate simultaneously with internal and external stakeholders. Additionally, the candidate will need to be able to produce a peer-reviewed literature search and incorporate findings to support research initiatives within the organization. The candidate will need to be comfortable working on multiple projects and will also be required to work across various divisions within the organization. Additionally, they must be willing to work in a growth-minded and collaborative team-focused environment.
Requirements
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
  • Demonstrate daily expertise in operating Excel and other advanced analytical software,
  • including Qualtrics, SPSS, and ESpatial. Possess the skills to translate and interpret data for
  • various purposes and audiences.
  • Effectively develop the ability to write and conduct peer reviews of written reports and other deliverables, successfully create reports, and present findings to small and large, various audiences and groups.
  • Structure, manipulate, and analyze extensive data sets to extract usable information
  • Develop and execute programmatic assessments and evaluations that produce measurable
  • outcomes for organizational programs.
  • Identify, evaluate and summarize peer-reviewed research articles to enhance programs and research initiatives.
  • Leverage prioritization, organization, time management, and multitasking abilities to ensure timely completion of deliverables. Prioritize, organize, use time management skills, and be adept at multitasking while working with a diverse group of internal and external stakeholders.
  • Actively assess workflows and identify opportunities to streamline team and individual processes to enhance efficiency. Serve as key contributor to internal documentation of team policies, practices, and procedures to support longevity and continuity.
  • Work independently and collaboratively while exhibiting a strong work ethic, positive attitude, and self-confidence, while being coachable.

EDUCATION:
  • A bachelor's degree is required, and a master's degree is preferred. Relevant course work in program evaluation, community-based research, and/or statistical analysis.

EXPERIENCE:
  • One to three years of relevant experience with data analysis.
  • Writing experience in a research or journalism-related field.
  • Proficient experience in statistical analysis and data management.
