Position Status: Full Time - Day Shift
Position Location: Chesapeake, VA
Salary Range: 69, 908 - 116, 480

Overview
A Nurse Professional Development Generalist (Nurse Educator) is responsible for supporting the ongoing education and professional development of nursing staff. This role involves assessing the educational needs of nursing teams, designing and implementing training programs, and ensuring that nurses maintain competencies aligned with the latest clinical standards and regulations. The Nurse Professional Development Generalist collaborates with other healthcare professionals to improve patient outcomes, promotes evidence-based practice, and enhances the overall quality of care.
This position will focus mostly on infusion and there may be some travel involved throughout Virginia Beach and Elizabeth City.
Education
  • BSN (required)

Certification/Licensure
  • RN active in VA and NC (Required)
  • BLS (Required)
  • Advanced or specialized life support certifications required upon hire as defined by specific specialty.

Experience
  • Minimum of 2 years of nursing (required)
  • Home Health or Hospice experience (required)
  • Prior infusion experience (preferred)
