Low Voltage Division Manager (RCDD Required)Overview

We are seeking an experienced Low Voltage Division Manager to lead and grow a well-established low-voltage systems division. This leadership role is responsible for overseeing all aspects of operations, including project management, estimating, business development, team leadership, and client relationship management.

The ideal candidate will possess strong technical expertise across low-voltage systems, proven experience managing teams and project portfolios, and a demonstrated ability to drive business growth through client engagement and strategic partnerships.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage all operations within the low-voltage division, including estimating, project management, field operations, and service delivery.
  • Oversee project managers, supervisors, and technical teams, providing mentorship, performance management, and professional development.
  • Drive business development initiatives by building and maintaining relationships with clients, general contractors, consultants, and industry partners.
  • Review and approve project estimates, proposals, contracts, and change orders to ensure profitability and accuracy.
  • Monitor project schedules, budgets, quality standards, and resource allocation to ensure successful project execution.
  • Develop and implement strategies to expand market share and increase revenue within the low-voltage sector.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable codes, industry standards, safety regulations, and company policies.
  • Conduct project reviews, site visits, and operational assessments to maintain quality control and customer satisfaction.
  • Manage subcontractor relationships, procurement activities, and vendor partnerships.
  • Prepare and present departmental performance reports, including financial metrics, project status updates, staffing needs, and growth initiatives.
Required Qualifications
  • Current BICSI RCDD Certification (Required).
  • 5+ years of experience within the low-voltage industry, including one or more of the following:
    • Structured Cabling
    • Security Systems
    • Access Control
    • Fire Alarm Systems
    • Audiovisual Systems
    • Telecommunications Infrastructure
  • 3+ years of management or leadership experience overseeing teams, projects, and operational performance.
  • Proven business development experience with a track record of generating new business opportunities and maintaining client relationships.
  • Strong estimating, budgeting, and project management skills.
  • Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining profitability and quality standards.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, negotiation, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency with project management, estimating, and operational software platforms.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to travel to project sites as needed.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Business, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Experience managing large-scale low-voltage project portfolios.
  • Existing relationships within the contractor, construction, commercial, or technology infrastructure markets.
