Job description

We’re looking for a dependable Logistics Coordinator to support daily sanitation operations by ensuring drivers, equipment, and service resources are scheduled accurately and efficiently. This role plays a key part in maintaining service timelines, regulatory compliance, and customer satisfaction across multiple job sites.

What You’ll Do

  • Coordinate daily transportation schedules to ensure timely delivery of equipment and sanitation services
  • Maintain accurate dispatch records to support tracking, reporting, and operational accountability
  • Assign drivers and allocate equipment based on availability, location, and service priority
  • Adjust schedules in real time to address delays, call-offs, or urgent service changes
  • Communicate with carriers, vendors, and internal teams to align logistics plans and service expectations
  • Prepare and review documentation including rate quotes, bills of lading, work orders, and service confirmations
  • Ensure all logistics documentation is accurate to support billing, compliance, and recordkeeping
  • Provide routing support and issue resolution for drivers throughout the workday
  • Monitor driver activity to ensure compliance with DOT regulations and Hours of Service (HOS) requirements
  • Respond to emergency or high-priority service requests by dispatching appropriate personnel and equipment
  • Track service progress and proactively address disruptions to minimize downtime and maintain service commitments

 

What You’ll Need

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, or related field preferred; equivalent experience considered
  • 1–2 years of experience in logistics, dispatch, transportation, or service coordination in a fast-paced environment
  • Working knowledge of dispatch systems, route planning, and regulatory requirements such as DOT and HOS guidelines
  • Ability to remain seated and work at a computer for extended periods during 8–10 hour shifts while managing phone and system communication
  • Capability to occasionally lift up to 20 pounds and travel between facilities as needed; flexibility to support extended hours, weekends, or emergency response situations
