EVENT DISPATCHER
LOCATION; Illinois and Indiana venues listed below but not limited to;
  • Soldier Field

Key insights; Indoor position, event based, shifts consist mainly weekends and evenings, parking provided.
We are seeking highly motivated and qualified candidates with background in emergency dispatching-whether from traditional public agencies (Law Enforcement, Fire, EMS) or from private-sector roles supporting public safety and critical operations.
Ideal candidates may have experience in areas such as:
  • Private ambulance dispatch
  • Security command posts or control centers
  • Private weather monitoring centers
  • Critical infrastructure dispatch (utilities, transit, etc.)
  • Hospital-to-ambulance radio coordination
  • Public works operations centers
  • Armored car/logistics dispatch
  • Special event command and radio coordination
  • Public assembly facilities (stadiums, arenas) with PA and radio comms
  • Community Emergency Response Teams (CERT)

Position Overview:
As a Dispatcher in our Event Operations Center, you will be responsible for:
  • Coordinating and deploying security personnel
  • Receiving and triaging calls
  • Monitoring alarms, surveillance systems, and other detection technologies
  • Ensuring timely, accurate responses to incidents
Core Responsibilities:
  • Maintain continuous communication with field personnel and partner agencies
  • Document all incidents and dispatch activity with accuracy
  • Collaborate with internal security teams and external response entities
  • Support emergency and non-emergency operations with professionalism and urgency
Key Skills and Qualifications:
  • Communication: Clear, calm, and effective verbal and written skills for relaying instructions and documenting events.

  • 2027 Valid Perc Card preferred
  • 20hr Unarmed training record preferred
  • Minimum education requirement; High School Diploma/GED
  • Minimum (2) years of professional security experience or (2) years of military experience or (2) years post high school academic training in related field
