Strategic Technology Institute (STi) is seeking a Performance/Data Analyst I to support the Department of Justice (DOJ), Justice Management Division (JMD), Office of the Chief Information Officer (OCIO) in support of the Homeland Security Task Force (HSTF). This role supports data analysis, reporting, dashboard maintenance, and Management Information System (MIS) operations supporting interagency investigative and operational initiatives. The ideal candidate will have experience working with data visualization tools, statistical reporting, and large datasets in a fast-paced federal environment. Responsibilities:
• Support collection, validation, and analysis of operational and performance data
• Assist with Tableau dashboard updates and reporting
• Execute SQL, Python, and Excel-based data analysis tasks
• Support development of reports, charts, and statistical summaries
• Assist with data integration and ETL processes
• Monitor data quality and assist with issue tracking and remediation
• Support quarterly reporting and operational metrics analysis
• Document data processes and business rules
• Assist with dashboard maintenance and data visualization improvements
• Support DOJ leadership reporting requirements and ad hoc data requests Required Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Information Systems, or related field
• 1–3 years of relevant experience in data analytics, business intelligence, statistics, or data science
• Experience with: - Microsoft Excel - SQL - Tableau or equivalent dashboarding tools - Python and/or R
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to communicate findings clearly to technical and non-technical audiences
• Active Secret Clearance required
• U.S. Citizenship required Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience supporting federal government programs
• Experience with law enforcement, intelligence, or operational datasets
• Familiarity with ETL processes and data integration
• Experience creating dashboards and data visualizations
• Top Secret eligibility preferred
