As a Full-Time Physical Therapist at Stone Crest Physical Therapy, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for our patients in the comfort of their homes. Work Environment

This full-time position is primarily onsite, delivering services directly to patients in their homes across Miami, Florida. The role involves a weekly commitment of 40 hours, with some flexibility to work on weekends as necessary based on patient needs. Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough evaluations of patients to assess functional limitations and identify appropriate treatment goals.
  • Develop and implement personalized treatment plans that incorporate evidence-based practices and align with each patient’s recovery objectives.
  • Monitor and adjust treatment plans based on patient progress, ensuring that all documentation adheres to applicable laws, regulations, and professional standards.
  • Collaboration with interdisciplinary teams, including physicians, nursing staff, and other healthcare providers to ensure a seamless continuum of care.
  • Provide education to patients and their families regarding treatment protocols, home exercises, and lifestyle modifications to promote ongoing wellness.
  • Document patient care accurately and maintain effective communication with support staff and healthcare team members.
  • Engage in departmental leadership functions, participate in community outreach, and contribute towards continuous quality improvement initiatives.
  • Supervise and mentor assigned support staff while effectively managing department resources.
Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will work with a diverse patient population, including individuals of varying ages and cultural backgrounds experiencing a range of orthopedic conditions. Your ability to adapt your communication and treatment approaches to meet the unique needs of each patient will be essential in facilitating their rehabilitation and ensuring maximum recovery potential.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program is required.
  • A valid State License in Physical Therapy is mandatory.
  • Proficient written and verbal communication skills to effectively collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to accurately document care and treatment processes.
  • Comfortable using computer systems for documentation and patient management.
Preferred Experience

While a minimum of 2 years of experience as a practicing physical therapist is required, candidates with experience in home care settings or orthopedic rehabilitation will be given preference. Familiarity with tools and modalities used in home care, as well as techniques for educating patients in a non-clinical environment, is highly desirable.

Compensation and Benefits

The annual salary for this position ranges from USD 100,000 to 120,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
