• Implement evidence-based psychotherapeutic techniques tailored to address the specific needs of individual clients and families dealing with various emotional and behavioral disorders.
• Conduct thorough psychosocial assessments to inform treatment plans and collaborate with clients on their initial discharge plans.
• Facilitate individual, group, and family therapy sessions that align with established treatment goals, adjusting methodologies as necessary based on client progress.
• Coordinate care and ensure continuity by integrating additional services into treatment plans, revising these as required to meet evolving patient needs.
• Maintain accurate and comprehensive documentation of therapy sessions, following all professional and facility standards to ensure accountability and quality care.
• Manage an assigned caseload effectively, ensuring timely follow-up and individualized attention to each client's journey through therapy.
• Engage in regular treatment team meetings to collaborate with fellow clinicians, promoting a multifaceted approach to patient care.
• Respond empathetically to client concerns, addressing any issues and developing solutions to enhance client satisfaction and therapeutic engagement.
• Uphold patient safety and confidentiality as a top priority in all interactions.
• Complete any other related tasks or projects as assigned, supporting the overall mission of the center.

As a Mental Health Counselor at Moon Crest, you will work with a diverse patient population, including adults, adolescents, and families. Our clinicians are equipped to address various psychological issues, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and behavioral challenges. The inclusive approach ensures that each client receives tailored care aimed at improving their quality of life and achieving positive therapeutic outcomes.

• A Master's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or a related field is required.
• Candidates must possess relevant state or national licensure to provide professional therapy services, specifically holding a valid LMFT, LPC, or LCSW license.

• Experience in providing therapy to a range of age groups, including children, adolescents, and adults, is highly desirable.
• Previous experience in outpatient settings will be an advantage.
• Familiarity with evidence-based practices in therapy is preferred.
