Key Responsibilities

• Utilize psychotherapeutic techniques and interventions to address and alleviate emotional and behavioral disorders in clients.
• Conduct thorough psychosocial assessments for new clients, developing individualized treatment plans and initial discharge plans based on findings.
• Facilitate individual, group, or family therapy sessions that align with each client's treatment goals.
• Maintain ongoing documentation of therapy services in compliance with professional standards, ensuring all records are current and accurate.
• Oversee a designated caseload, adjusting treatment plans as necessary based on client progression and needs.
• Engage in regular treatment team meetings to discuss client progress, collaboratively brainstorming interventions with other staff members.
• Always approach client interactions with empathy, professionalism, and a positive attitude.
• Address client concerns and feedback promptly, working towards resolutions that maintain trust and safety.
• Assist in coordinating additional services for clients as necessary, ensuring a holistic approach to mental health care.
• Complete other tasks as assigned to support the overall mission and operations of the center.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor at Moon Crest Psychological Center, you will work with a diverse population, including adolescents, adults, and families. This role allows you to engage with clients from various backgrounds, addressing a wide range of concerns including anxiety, depression, trauma, and life transitions. Your efforts will directly contribute to enhancing their emotional well-being and resilience.

Qualifications

• A Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or a related field is required.
• State or national licensure as a professional therapist is mandatory; candidates must hold licenses such as LMFT, LPC, LCSW.
• Demonstrated expertise in counseling practices, particularly with children, adolescents, or across the lifespan.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in a mental health setting is preferred, particularly with demonstrated success in managing various client presentations.
• Experience in community health settings is highly valued, as it enhances your understanding of the unique challenges faced by this population.

Compensation and Benefits

Moon Crest Psychological Center offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 80,000 to 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
