CBI provides residential, outpatient, inpatient, patient-centered medical homes, medication-assisted treatment, and crisis services to individuals experiencing crisis, opioid use disorder, homelessness, and mental illness.
Outpatient Counselor
Community Bridges, Inc. (CB I) is an integrated behavioral healthcare agency offering a variety of different programs throughout Arizona. CBI provides residential, outpatient, inpatient, physical health, medication-assisted treatment, and crisis services to individuals experiencing, substance use disorder, homelessness, and mental illness.

Job Summary
The Community Bridges, Inc. (CB) Counselor is responsible for ensuring, with the assistance of other treatment team members, that each participant is provided the services necessary to achieve the goals of treatment as outlined in their individualized treatment plan. Counselors familiarize themselves with each new assigned participant to provide appropriate counseling services based on best practices models as well as providing educational presentations to participants and/or their families as needed. Also known as: Counselor, Therapist, Clinician.
Skills/Requirements
  • Master's degree in counseling, marriage and family therapy or social work from a CSWE-accredited program required.
  • Minimum of one (1) year of full-time behavioral health experience is required of this position.
  • Minimum two (2) years of experience working with the Adolescent Population preferred.
  • Minimum two (2) years of experience working with the Substance Abuse population preferred.
  • Licensure at the associate or independent level with The Arizona Board of Behavioral Health Examiners as Psychologist, Social worker, Counselor, Marriage and family therapist or Substance Abuse Counselor required.
  • Current AZ Driver's License (Valid and in good standing).
  • Clear 39-month Motor Vehicle Record (MVR)
  • Finger Print Clearance Card required
