About the Role

ATP North America LLC is seeking a reliable and motivated Coating Line Helper to support our coating line operations. In this role, you will work closely with the Coating Line Operator to ensure smooth setups, changeovers, splicing, and packaging. You will play an essential part in maintaining product quality, safety standards, and efficient production flow.


Key Responsibilities

Machine Operation & Production Support

  • Follow all standard operating procedures (SOPs), work instructions, and product specifications.
  • Load raw materials and unload finished products according to the bill of materials.
  • Prepare and stage consumable materials based on customer-specific requirements.
  • Mix and stage all water-based adhesives used in the coating process.
  • Assist with operator-led preventive maintenance to ensure consistent machine performance.

Quality Assurance

  • Perform in-line quality checks using designated measuring devices.
  • Report any equipment or measuring device issues that may impact product quality.

Continuous Improvement

  • Work alongside the Coating Line Operator to optimize process steps.
  • Provide general support to team members to help meet production goals.

Safety & Housekeeping

  • Follow all safety, health, and housekeeping procedures.
  • Wear required PPE at all times.
  • Maintain a clean, organized work area with clear walkways and proper storage.
Requirements:

Qualifications

Education

  • High School Diploma or GED required.

Experience

  • 2โ€“4 years of experience in a manufacturing environment as a machine operator or helper.
  • Preferred: Experience in the pressure-sensitive adhesive (PSA) or tape industry.

Skills & Physical Requirements

  • Basic reading and math comprehension.
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs.
  • Ability to stand, walk, climb, kneel, balance, crouch, crawl, and perform physical tasks for a 12-hour shift.
