Job description

Church Bookkeeper – Crescent Hill Baptist Church

Crescent Hill Baptist Church is seeking a detail-oriented and trustworthy Bookkeeper to manage financial records, contributions, accounts payable, payroll, and reporting. The ideal candidate has bookkeeping experience, strong organizational skills, and a commitment to confidentiality.

Responsibilities include:

  • Recording receipts and expenses
  • Processing payroll
  • Reconciling accounts
  • Preparing financial reports
  • Maintaining donor records
  • Attend staff and finance team meetings
  • Prepare and File 1099s

Qualifications:

  • Bookkeeping/accounting experience
  • Accounting software and Microsoft Excel proficiency
  • Knowledge of fund accounting principles
  • Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects, and work independently
  • Ability to communicate and collaborate with a wide variety of people in a helpful and considerate manner
