Job Profile:

What You Get to Do:
  • Build relationship with the provider to anticipate their needs and save time.
  • Open the lab for your team, prepare rooms for patients, print out the schedule and huddle with providers in the morning.
  • Take patients to the treatment room, get their vitals and reason for the appointment.
  • Perform blood draws, injections, and other lab tests.
  • Prepare rooms for procedures.
  • Process prior authorizations, medial assistant orders, scheduling patients, lab results, medication refills, and stock patient rooms.
  • At the end of the day, you will close the pod labs, sterilize the rooms and instruments, and prepare for the next day.
  • You get to serve your community - you are here for the patients, and they are very grateful.

Compensation: All individual pay rates are calculated based on the candidate's experience and internal equity. Clinica will also pay any fees associated with receiving your Medical Assistant certification.
Certified Medical Assistant: $22.05 - $27.93 per hour
Uncertified/No Diploma Medical Assistant: Slightly below certified range
What We Need for this Job:
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish.
  • Completion of a Medical Assistant training program with over 100 hours of hands-on externship experience.
    • Two (2+) years recent experience a Medical Assistant in lieu of school
  • Maintain a high level of professionalism and empathy when interacting with patients. Always be respectful.
  • Strong communication skills - proactively ask for help, etc.
  • Must be reliable and punctual.
