This is a full-time position Monday - Friday, 7:30 or 8:00 am to 5:00 pm in the Holy Cross Medical Group Urology office (start time and end time may vary). No weekend or night shifts!
Position Summary:
Assist physician conducting treatments and procedures. Demonstrates compe
tence in ordered treatments including but not limited to vital signs, documentation, inserting, irrigating and removing urinary catheter, administering injections and monitoring patient for adverse reactions after injections, prepares patient for treatments and procedures, assists with minor dressing and wound care utilizing proper sterile/clean technique and infection control. Performs data collection in an ongoing and systematic manner, focusing on the physiological, psychological, and cognitive status of each patient assigned using assessment sheets. Reports findings to the RN.

What you will need:
Education: Graduate of an accredited LPN nursing program is required.
Experience: One (1) year minimum of experience in a medical office or hospital setting highly preferred.
Licensure/Certification:
  • Florida LPN license is required
  • BLS card from AHA is required
