If you have a valid 'C' or 'D' driver's license and relevant work experience in the Transportation field,you can apply for this position. Non CDL Driver

The Non-CDL Driver is a driver position that does not require a CDL, but a valid Driver's license without moving violations. The driver is responsible for catering aircraft and transporting / delivering carts with meals and beverages to assigned flights at Chicago OHare airport. Thedriver is responsible for driving the truck on the airport ramp to provide catering services to airline customers in a timely manner and follow all safety procedures when loading and unloading equipment into the warehouse, carts and aircraft.

Job Requirements / Responsibilities

Must have a valid Driver's License with no moving violation.
Ability to speak, read and understand English
Communicate effectively with vendor airline crew in a professional manner
Strip and load planes to airline customer specifications
Demonstrate full compliance will all work rules and regulations
Elevate problematic situations to the Supervisor level as they arise maintain constant communication with Dock Supervisors.
Demonstrate flexibility and ability to react to changing priorities.
Organizational skills and ability to work under tight schedule demands
Safely drive trucks in and around the warehouse to proper docks and spots
Drive safely to and from airfield and in and around airfield
Responsible for proper dock departure and catering time
Follow proper safety guidelines and follow Helpers commands on steering truck
Responsible for unloading truck and place carts, carriers and ovens in proper spots
Cater airplanes in timely manner to avoid delays

Our Employees Must Be Able to:

Work assigned schedule which may include nights, weekends or holidays. Once assigned, schedule remains steady until shift bid process which takes place 2-3 times / year.
Work overtime when required.
Pass a criminal background and drug screen. Must be able to obtain SIDA badge with Hologram.
Pass a basic written and driving skills test
Wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and uniform as required.
Maintain an excellent attendance record

Environmental Requirements:
Drivers are exposed to inclement weather: rain, snow, wind, cold, heat and noise levels.
