High-paying jobs that can reach $4,000 a week without a degree typically include roles such as sales managers, real estate brokers, commercial pilots, or skilled trades like electricians and plumbers. These positions often require experience, specialized skills, or certifications rather than formal college degrees, and they may involve long hours or high responsibility levels.

How to make 10000 a month with no degree?

A hiring student or entry-level worker can potentially earn $10,000 a month through high-paying sales roles, freelance work, or entrepreneurship that leverage skills like digital marketing, coding, or consulting. Achieving this income typically requires building a strong client base, developing specialized skills, and often working long hours or in commission-based environments.

Why is Gen Z struggling to get jobs?

Gen Z job seekers often face challenges such as limited work experience, high competition, and employers' preference for candidates with specific skills or certifications. Additionally, economic factors and changing hiring practices can make it harder for younger applicants to secure positions, especially entry-level roles requiring adaptability and digital literacy.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as a Hiring Manager, and why are they important?

To thrive as a Hiring Manager, you need a solid background in talent acquisition, interviewing, and knowledge of employment laws, often supported by a degree in human resources or a related field. Strong interpersonal skills, decision-making abilities, and effective communication set outstanding hiring managers apart. These skills ensure the organization attracts, evaluates, and selects the best candidates efficiently and compliantly.

These positions provide students with valuable work experience while they pursue their education. Hiring Students typically work flexible hours and may assist in departments such as human resources, clerical support, or customer service. The goal is to help students gain professional skills and earn income while balancing their academic commitments.

These positions often require specific skills, certifications, or experience and may involve self-employment or contract work with flexible schedules.

What are some common challenges faced by students working in a hiring or recruitment role on campus?

Students working in campus hiring or recruitment roles often balance their academic workload with recruitment responsibilities, which can be challenging during peak hiring seasons. They may also encounter difficulties in effectively communicating with both applicants and university staff, and in learning to use applicant tracking systems or recruitment platforms. However, this role provides valuable experience in time management, professional communication, and teamwork, as students often collaborate with career services and other departments to coordinate hiring events and interviews.

Description

Are you a strong communicator who enjoys helping people stay on track and reach the finish line?

At 160 Driving Academy, we are hiring Student Success Advisors to support students from the time tuition is paid through classroom theory, yard training, CDL testing, graduation, and job placement support.

This role is focused on student support, retention, communication, and follow-through. You will help students complete required steps such as permits, DOT physicals, drug screens, attendance, fees, testing, and placement verification.

With 90 locations across 32 states, 160 Driving Academy helps thousands of students each year start careers in trucking.

Responsibilities

  • Support students from class start through graduation and CDL testing.
  • Take inbound calls from enrolled students and resolve or escalate issues quickly.
  • Make outbound support calls to students assigned to your training locations.

  • Track student attendance and identify students who may need additional support.
  • Update student communication and activity in Salesforce.
  • Assist with enrollment documentation and student billing package requirements.
  • Support job placement follow-up and verify placement after graduation.
  • Greet walk-in students and prospective students when working from a branch location.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and professional branch environment when on-site.
  • Partner with yards, instructors, compliance, training, and support teams to remove student barriers.
  • Follow company pricing and discount guidelines.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in education, vocational training, admissions, workforce programs, retail, or student services.
  • Familiarity with WIOA or government-assistance programs.
  • Experience supporting adult learners or career-change students.
  • Branch operations or site coordination experience.
  • Bilingual English and Spanish is helpful but not required.
  • Experience coordinating compliance documents such as permits, physicals, drug screens, or testing paperwork.

What We Offer

  • Hourly pay based on experience and state requirements.
  • Commission opportunity tied to eligible branch-driven enrollments.
  • Bonus opportunity tied to student retention.
  • Comprehensive benefits package for full-time team members.
  • Training and onboarding to support your success in the role.
  • Remote or branch-based work depending on business needs.
  • Career growth opportunities within 160 Driving Academy.
  • An opportunity to make a lasting impact by helping students complete training and start careers in trucking.

At 160 Driving Academy, we help students move from paid tuition to CDL in hand. The Student Success Advisor plays a key role in keeping students supported, prepared, and moving toward graduation.
