Student Employee - Congressional Archives (FALL)
Job no: 493817

Pay Range: Targeted salary of $13.00/hour, based on education and experience.
Benefits Eligible: No
Work Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Travel: Not required
Position Introduction:
The Carl Albert Congressional Research and Studies Center is hiring student hourly employees to work in the Carl Albert Congressional Archives on the Norman campus. The employees will perform a variety of clerical and archives-related tasks to assist with grant and other special projects. Duties include, scanning, and describing archival documents, computerized metadata entry, and other duties as assigned.
Required Education and Experience:
  • Must be currently enrolled in the Fall Term as a student at the University of Oklahoma.
  • Hiring contingent upon verification of current student status.

Required Certifications and Licenses:
None
Department Preferences:
  • Interest in politics and/or U.S. or Oklahoma history
  • Interest in library/archives studies or audiovisual communication/journalism studies
  • Office clerical or library assistant experience, including computer experience
