Job Title : Technician Location : Huntsville, AL Contract : 12 Month Contract Citizenship Requirement: US Citizenship Pay : $38.00/hr on W2! Job description:
  • Performs a variety of duties in the electronic, mechanical, electromechanical, and/or optical areas. Constructs, troubleshoots, calibrates, adjusts, tests, diagnoses, and maintains equipment, components, devices, or systems.
  • Works from schematics, engineering drawings and written or verbal instructions.
  • Operates related equipment; conducts tests and reports data in prescribed format. Performs calibration and alignment checks; makes adjustments, modifications, and replacements as directed; prepares prescribed compounds and solutions. Exclude technicians working in production or quality assurance.
  • Support to the Redstone Arsenal STORM Project Office. Responsibilities will be maintaining and troubleshooting M270A1 and HIMARS Launchers.
  • Testing ATACMS, GMLRS, HELLFIRE, and Javelin missiles. Responsibilities will also include writing final reports and SOPs.
Basic Required Qualifications:
  • Familiar with gasoline and diesel engines.
  • Troubleshooting skills on vehicles.
  • Familiar with Redstone Arsenal, AL operations.
  • Familiar with engine and diesel engines.

  • Preferred experience working on Military Bradley vehicles, HIMARS, MLRS, HUMVEE, HEMIT.
  • Diesel mechanic working on Bulldozers and/or Large Diesel Engines.
  • Preferred experience working on gasoline and/or diesel engines.
