Job description

Hilco Vision's portfolio includes Prescription Safety, Lens care, Eyewear Accessories, Lab & Dispensing Products, Dry Eye Solutions, Vision Testing Equipment, Pharmaceuticals, and Diagnostic Exam & Surgical Supplies
Hilco Vision is seeking an experienced Account Manager to serve as the primary link between our brand portfolio and key customer partners across the optical and medical distribution space. This role combines strategic account leadership, sharp business acumen, and hands-on relationship management - balancing ambitious sales targets with genuine customer partnership. You will work closely with the Global Account Director and cross-functional teams to grow our most important accounts.

Qualifications:
  • 3+ years in a customer-facing account management, sales, or business development role
  • Experience managing key accounts at a senior level, with a track record of building relationships up to the executive level
  • Optical or distribution industry experience strongly preferred
  • Bachelor's degree in business, Marketing, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • Customer-centric, curious, and genuinely interested in solving problems for accounts
  • Clear, confident communicator across all levels of an organization
  • Comfortable with data able to spot trends and turn them into strategy
  • Ability to travel 25%-40% of the time to support key accounts and business needs

Responsibilities:
  • Account Management: Own and grow relationships with key accounts, mainly on ophthalmic side of business, serving as the primary point of contact and trusted advisor.
  • Strategy & Execution: Build and execute tailored account plans that align customer needs with sales targets and company objectives.
  • Full Sales Cycle Ownership: Lead opportunity identification, proposal development, negotiation, and closing for high-value deals.
  • Forecasting & Reporting: Deliver accurate forecasts and account performance updates to the Global Account Director and executive leadership to inform business planning. Timely updates in CRM to track progress of account deals and activity.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with marketing, operations, and customer service teams to ensure seamless execution and excellent customer experience.
  • Market Intelligence: Track industry trends, competitive activity, and customer feedback to identify new growth opportunities.
