Logistics General Manager

Responsible for the management of all Logistics operations for their respective DC’s. Procedures and process implementations and controls.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the development and implementation of an processes and procedures improving service strategy and cost control plan of the business for entire operations.
  • Coordinates with other operational resources, developing the strategic and tactical direction for all locations, establish management processes and metrics for performance and be accountable for financial performance of the Logistics business.
  • Build a world-class team, develop high-level service offerings, motivate and lead a staff.
  • Strong negotiation ability (Carrier, Customer, Margin Integrity)
  • Develop and execute business plan strategies for operations • Develop & manage KPIs for logistics
  • Performing special projects and other miscellaneous duties as assigned by Senior Group General Manager and other senior management for operations.
  • Work within and implement company policy as outlined in the companies Code of Safe Practices, Standard Operating Procedures and OSHA Safety rules
  • Perform other duties as assigned in SGGM.
