Job description

Title: Assistant High School Football Coach

Reports To: Athletic Director & Varsity Football Head Coach


General Responsibilities:

Position is responsible for assisting the head coach with organizing the high school football program for Beech Grove City Schools. This position will assist with conducting practices, motivating students, and instructing student-athletes in game strategies and techniques.


Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

Effectively communicate with a diverse group of athletes, coaches, and parents

Provide football coaching while developing essential life skills and positive character

Establish and maintain a safe and healthy environment for team members

Assist in the monitoring of academic progress of team members

Always represent the school and community in a positive light

Support the head coach in the implementation of her vision and goals for the Beech Grove High School Football Program


Qualifications:

  • Past playing experience preferred
  • Past coaching experience preferred
