As a Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse, you will play a vital role within a dynamic team, delivering outstanding care to patients in a high-risk obstetric setting. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Delivering comprehensive care to patients undergoing antepartum, C-section, and vaginal deliveries
  • Overseeing high-risk obstetric cases and administering medications such as magnesium, insulin, and pitocin
  • Providing support across various campuses as required
  • Utilizing EPIC EMR for precise documentation
  • Working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to achieve optimal patient outcomes

To qualify for this position, candidates must meet the following criteria:

  • Possession of an active Iowa or compact/multistate RN license
  • A minimum of 1 year of experience in a Labor & Delivery environment
  • Experience with high-risk obstetrics in a level I trauma facility
  • Completion of at least one travel assignment within the last 12 months
  • Intermediate or Advanced EFM/AWHONN certification
  • Experience with EPIC EMR
  • Current BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications (AHA)
