Are you a dedicated Labor & Delivery nurse looking for your next rewarding travel assignment? Do you excel in high-risk obstetric environments and thrive on providing exceptional care during one of the most critical times in a patient's life? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you!


Join our healthcare partner in Des Moines, IA, where you'll be an integral part of a team that supports mothers and their newborns through every stage of labor and delivery. This role requires expertise in high-risk obstetrics, antepartum care, and both C-section and vaginal deliveries. You'll have the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment with a patient ratio of 1:1-2, ensuring personalized and attentive care.

  • Provide comprehensive care to high-risk obstetric patients
  • Manage antepartum, C-section, and vaginal deliveries
  • Administer drips such as magnesium, insulin, and pitocin
  • Float across multiple campuses as needed
  • Utilize EPIC EMR for documentation

Requirements:

  • Need 2 years experience in setting
  • Must have completed at least one travel assignment in the previous 12 months
  • Active Iowa or compact/multistate RN license
  • Intermediate or Advanced EFM / AWHONN certification
  • EPIC EMR experience
  • BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications (AHA)
