Job description

Sports Physical Therapist
KIME Performance Physical Therapy | Folsom, CA
Excellence Is the Standard. We'll Train the System.
At KIME Performance, we don't believe excellence is something you "grow into."
It's a mindset you bring with you.
Our mission is to inspire hope by optimizing human performance for a better life and a healthier world. We exist to raise the standard in sports physical therapy - for our patients, our profession, and our people.
We are not looking for someone who has everything figured out.
We are looking for someone who refuses to accept mediocrity.
Who We Are
KIME Performance is a high-performance sports physical therapy organization built on two strategic pillars:
  • Provider of Choice - Delivering deeply diagnostic, individualized, performance-driven care
  • Employer of Choice - Creating an environment where driven clinicians can thrive, grow, and become community leaders.

Every location is designed to bridge rehabilitation and performance, giving clinicians the space, tools, and autonomy to practice at the highest level.
We believe every human is an athlete in their own life - and we treat them that way.
Who We're Looking For
We're looking for a Physical Therapist who brings an excellence-driven mindset.
You may be early in your career or highly experienced - what matters most is that you:
  • Care deeply about the quality of your work
  • Are curious, coachable, and committed to lifelong learning
  • Take ownership of outcomes - not just sessions
  • Want to be part of a team that holds each other to a higher standard

If you bring the standards, humility, and hunger, we will teach you the KIME methods.
What You'll Do
  • Deliver high-quality, evidence-based physical therapy to a diverse and active population
  • Perform comprehensive evaluations and create individualized, goal-driven plans of care
  • Integrate rehabilitation and performance principles to support long-term success
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of clinicians, performance coaches, and medical professionals
  • Progress through KIMEU, our internal education ecosystem, toward becoming a KIME-Certified High Performance Sports Medicine Specialist
  • Contribute to a culture that values excellence, accountability, and trust

Our Standards & Values
At KIME, culture is operational - not aspirational.
We are guided by:
  • Integrity - Doing the right thing, even when it's hard
  • Performance - Holding ourselves to a higher standard
  • Community - Trusting that we are better together

We believe a Perfect Patient Experience and a Perfect Employee Experience must exist together - or neither exists at all.
What You Can Expect From Us
  • A high-performing, collaborative team that invests in your development
  • Structured mentorship and real clinical progression - not trial-by-fire
  • Industry-leading education and CEU support, including internal coursework through KIMEU
  • Autonomy in scheduling and clinical decision-making as competence grows
  • A compensation structure designed to reward impact, including:
  • Competitive base salary
  • Aggressive gainshare program
  • Education allowance
  • Medical benefits
  • 401(k) with up to 4% employer match

This is a place to build mastery, not just accumulate years.
Required Qualifications
  • Licensed Physical Therapist in the State of California
  • PT, MPT, or DPT degree
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build trust with patients and teammates
  • A patient-first mindset paired with personal accountability

Encouraged (Not Required)
  • Background in athletics, coaching, or performance training
  • Certifications such as CSCS, NSCA, PES, ACSM, or equivalent.

Ready to Raise the Standard?
If you believe excellence is a choice, and you're looking for a place that will challenge you, support you, and invest in your growth - we'd love to meet you.
