Overview

Juncos Hollinger Racing is seeking a skilled and passionate Purchaser to join our dynamic and competitive team!

Responsibilities

Position Overview:

The Purchaser will play a critical role in keeping things moving in a dynamic time critical environment. This is a hands-on role that requires a quick learner, who is a creative problem solver, skilled negotiator, expert communicator and whose attention to detail is second to none. The ideal candidate is conscientious, proactive, adaptable, and thrives in fast-paced, high-pressure environments such as international motorsport.

Key Responsibilities:

Responsible for sourcing and purchasing parts, materials and services required by the team, ensuring these meet quality, cost and delivery targets.

Work with the team to identify, evaluate, and select suppliers for racing parts, materials, and services.

Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, monitoring their performance, and resolving any issues/discrepancies promptly.

Assist in negotiating contracts, prices, and terms with suppliers to secure the best value for the business.

Prepare and raise purchase orders, track the order progress, and ensure timely delivery of goods.

Prepare and maintain purchasing files, reports, and documentation for internal and external stakeholders.

Support budget planning, monitor expenses, and identify opportunities for cost reduction.

Contribute to the continuous improvement of the purchasing processes, identifying best practices, and implementing innovative solutions that align with the team and financial goals and parameters.

Qualifications & Requirements:

Motorsport experience required

Strong understanding of the procurement process, including sourcing, negotiation, and supplier management.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to manage relationships with suppliers and contractors.

Highly organized with strong time management skills, capable of meeting tight deadlines in high-pressure environments.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.

Proactive, collaborative, and innovative mindset.
