Job description

Job Title: Cath Lab Technician

Location: Hickory, NC

Shift: Full-Time Days

Compensation: $76,000 – $102,000 per year

Sign-on Bonus: $15,000


Position Summary:

Provides direct and indirect patient care in accordance with applicable scope and standards of practice.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Patient Care: Perform all aspects of patient care in the cath lab, ensuring safety and minimizing the risk of healthcare errors.
  • Plan of Care: Formulate individualized care plans, revise them as necessary based on the patient’s condition, and evaluate the plan’s effectiveness on a daily basis.
  • Patient Monitoring: Monitor, record, and communicate the patient’s condition to the care team, providers, patients, and their families as needed.


Education & Certifications:

  • Required:
    • ARRT or RCIS certification.
    • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
    • Associate’s degree from a Radiological Technology program (or equivalent Cath Lab experience in lieu of degree).
