Job description

Torii is opening soon, and we're building a team of cooks who care about great food, consistency, and working in a high energy kitchen.

We're a noodle bar focused on bold flavors, ramen, and craveable comfort dishes-and we're looking for someone who takes pride in what they put on a plate.

Your day to day:

  • Execute dishes consistently and with attention to detail
  • Work multiple stations (ramen, fry, saute, prep)
  • Keep a clean, organized, and efficient station
  • Support your team during busy service
  • Follow food safety and sanitation standards at all times

What we are looking for:

  • 1-2yrs Kitchen experience preferred
  • Strong work ethic and reliability
  • Ability to move with urgency during peak hours
  • Team-first mindset- no egos, just execution
  • Pride in quality and consistency

THE KANKI EXPERIENCE
When you visit of our Raleigh-Durham restaurants, you'll be greeted by our friendly staff and seated at a large table surrounding one of our teppan grills.
Next, you'll choose drinks, starters, sushi, hibachi and more from our extensive menu. All teppanyaki dishes will be made-to-order, and our chefs will prepare your hibachi chicken, steak, shrimp, salmon or scallops, along with rice and a selection of veggies, right in front of your eyes.
Of course, half of the fun is watching our chefs as they expertly chop, dice and cook your meal with the flip of a knife, providing mealtime entertainment your whole table is sure to enjoy!
