The company is about to commence operations at its headquarters in Middleborough, MA, with future operations planned in other towns throughout the State.

Job Summary
The Holistic Health Group Cultivation Technician provides manual labor which supports the activities and operations of the cultivation team. They will assist in maintaining both grow rooms and plants in each cycle, ensuring plant quality. The cultivation technician will work both individually and with the cultivation team managing all plants. They will work to complete the pruning, transplanting, rearranging, feeding, and harvesting; the role will include many other like tasks for the production of each plant.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
  • Agriculture or related field is preferred

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITES
  • Maintaining each cycle room to ensure it is clean and organized
  • Consistently execute techniques for plant quality
  • Plant maintenance during their cycles
  • Transplanting
  • Mixing soil
  • Moving each plant as they progress through the cycles
  • Assist in proper plant irrigation
  • Prepare each room with necessary items for plant cycle
  • Completing each step of the cycle process as directed
  • Defoliate plants
  • Prune plants
  • Harvesting each plant
  • Clean work areas between harvests
  • Clone, plant, and fertilize each plant
  • Harvest plants, and transplant and label them.
  • Track plants and plant growth.
  • Inspect plants to assess quality and monitor for insects or disease.
  • Examining plants for signs of pests or disease.
  • Assist with pest management as needed

Skills:
  • Understanding of Blaze
  • Ability to frequently lift and store product
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office
  • Proficient in Google Suite
  • Excellent analytical skills are a must, including measuring and monitoring key performance metrics, maximizing efficiencies and customer service levels
  • Ability to work independently with little or no direct supervision.

Education
  • High school diploma/GED preferred.

Experience
  • 1-3 years' experience working in a cannabis retail setting preferred
  • 1 year of previous packaging and/or labeling experience preferred
  • Must be 21 years of age minimum.

Working conditions
  • Work is primarily performed in a dispensary setting.
  • Involves frequent contact with staff, vendors, and customers. Work may include dealing with law enforcement and occasional State inspectors.

Physical requirements
  • Frequent exercise in warehouse environment including but not limited to twisting, reaching, and standing.
  • Ability to lift 30 to 40 pounds and carry throughout the facility
  • Use hands to finger to perceive attributes of objects and materials such as size, shape, temperature, or texture, by touching with fingertips.
  • Free of allergic reactions to cannabis products.
  • Ability to maneuver between compact growing spaces.
