Short Description
This position provides administrative, clerical, and organizational support to all Physicians/APPs within their assigned divisions (inpatient and outpatient) including maintaining calendars, schedule changes, conference travel, on call responsibilities, submit reimbursements, assist with presentations/projects as needed, maintain provider files, work bump lists under 30 days, legal requests, licensures, etc.
Serve as the point of contact with key partners e.g. PAC, Ambulatory Call Center, Ambulatory leaders/staff, institute staff/leaders, patient relations, Hero Care/Operation Allies, etc.
Ensure staff messages and hospital follow up WQs are worked and cleared daily. Liaison for scheduling VIP patients.
Support the organization's leadership team and assist with administrative and program communications.
Coordination of Divisional meetings, conferences, and events, with attendance at meetings to provide administrative support as needed.
Responsible for office supply management and ordering.
Extreme attention to detail is necessary.
Experience Required
Minimum 3 years Healthcare Administrative experience.
Education Requirements
High School Diploma required.
Associates Degree preferred.
Special Requirements
Excellent organizational skills, oral and written communication skills with strong analytical and follow-through skills.
Ability to multi-task and prioritize.
Must be able to work independently.
Computer literate, expert Microsoft Office skills; knowledge of EPIC Cadence, and Lawson.
