TeamHealth is seeking a board-certified or board-eligible internal medicine or family medicine physician to join our established hospital medicine team at Henrico Doctors' Hospital in Richmond, Virginia.
Position Highlights
  • Full-time day position, 7am - 7pm schedule (minimum of 182 hours or 14 shifts per month)
  • 7-on/7-off rotation
  • Closed ICU with 24/7 intensivist coverage
  • No procedures required

Henrico Doctors' Hospital, is a 340-bed community hospital located in Richmond, Virginia. Henrico Doctors' Hospital offers is a Level II Trauma Center that offers a variety of healthcare services. There is a 24/7 adult and pediatric emergency department with dedicated fast track emergency department for less serious illness or injury. The Sarah Cannon Cancer Institute is a state-of-the-art facility gives patients additional access to the best technology and evidence-based treatment. The Women's Hospital features a completely renovated women's health facility with new labor and delivery, mother-baby, antepartum, and Level III neonatal intensive care units. The Virginia Institute of Robotic Surgery Center offers robotic and advanced laparoscopic and minimally-invasive technologies for a wide range of surgical procedures. The Heart Center at Henrico Doctors', provides the most advanced cardiac techniques and technologies, including the minimally invasive valve surgery, aortic valve replacement, mitral valve replacement, and coronary artery bypass graft (CABG). Henrico Doctors' Hospital is a Primary Stroke Center, Certified by The Joint Commission and named a Five-Star Recipient for Stroke Treatment for 15 years in a row. Henrico Doctors' Hospital is also a Virginia Transplant Center, specializing in kidney transplants, living kidney donations and paired-exchange kidney transplants.
