Job Summary and Qualifications

At Henrico Doctors’ Hospital, our Mother Baby Unit is a brand new state-of-the-art facility consisting of 35 private rooms designed for family centered recovery. In addition to participating in educational activities to maintain competence and gain new knowledge, you will also develop these skills on a daily basis by providing quality care to each patient based on individual needs. We are an amazing, hardworking team who is looking for a phenomenal addition like you!

  • You will communicate effectively and professionally with internal and external customers as well as document required information according to hospital policy
  • Our nursing staff is expected to present themselves in a professional manner
  • As a MBU RN, assessing and fostering patient-infant bonding is a key responsibility
  • You must function in an organized and time conscious manner
    What qualifications you will need:
    • Currently hiring for night shift only
    • Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing (BSN preferred)
    • Current Registered Nurse license in Virginia or a compact license
    • Current BLS certification
    • Must have at least two recent years of Mother Baby experience
