Job description

Cummins Behavioral Health Systems, Inc. is currently seeking a Crisis Intervention Licensed Therapist to work as a member of an interdisciplinary Crisis Response Team, providing crisis services in Hendricks and Putnam Counties. 

This is a hybrid position with a home base at our Hendricks County (Avon) office. The schedule includes a combination of office-based, community-based and remote work, depending on operational and consumer care needs. Team members may work non-traditional hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as part of a 24/7 crisis response program.

Schedule: Primarily Weekends

You MUST reside in or be willing to relocate to Indiana.

Job Summary:

The Crisis Intervention Licensed Therapist provides evidence-based crisis assessment, intervention, and stabilization services to individuals and families. As part of a 24/7 interdisciplinary Crisis Response Team, this role collaborates with community partners, including law enforcement, hospitals, and first responders, to deliver crisis services through a combination of in-person, community-based, and virtual interventions while coordinating ongoing care.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct crisis assessments through telephonic, walk-in, mobile and virtual crisis response.
  • Provide crisis intervention, safety planning, and stabilization services.
  • Coordinate psychiatric hospitalization and connect individuals to community resources.
  • Complete timely and accurate clinical documentation in the electronic health record (EHR).
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, community partners, and emergency responders to coordinate care.
  • Participate in treatment planning, case management, training, and ongoing quality improvement activities.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Education/Experience:

  • Master's degree in behavioral health, social work, counseling, or other related field; and
  • Licensure in the state of Indiana as an LCSW, LMHC, LCAC and/or LMFT;
