Job description

This is a Cactus Wellhead position and is located in Bossier City, LA
Day Shift- 5am-5pm
Job Summary: Responsible for setup, operating and maintaining coating lines and saw equipment, to include cutting of raw material for further processing.
Essential Functions, Roles, and Responsibilities: Essential duties and responsibilities include the following.
  • Practice safe work habits and comply with all quality, safety, health and environmental policies, procedures, programs and regulations.
  • Verify proper material and saw equipment set up.
  • Operate NC and/or Panel saw equipment to process material orders.
  • Measure cut stock with tape, ruler, caliper rule, or square to verify dimensions against order requirements.
  • Remove cut stock from machine and marks material per job requirements for further processing.
  • I identify drop offs and returns to inventory.
  • Identify, record, and segregate scrap and any non-conforming material.
  • Identify coating process to be performed and follow company procedures to ensure coating lines are operational, maintained, and processed products are defect free.
  • Perform appropriate coating process verifications and associated calculations and ensure all required documentation is properly filled out and processed.
  • Perform other regular duties as assigned or requested.

Education, Training, Experience: High School diploma or general education degree (GED): or minimum 1 year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Certifications, Licenses, Registrations: None
Job Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:
  • Knowledge in the procedures and safety measures regarding HEM saws or other saw equipment.
  • Knowledge of basic measuring tools, but not limited to calipers, micrometers and thickness gauges.
  • Basic mathematical skills.
  • Advanced computer skills.
  • Advanced Language skills and time management ability.
