Key Responsibilities
  • Provide therapeutic support through individual, couples, family, and group therapy sessions, addressing a diverse range of mental health concerns.
  • Utilize evidence-based practices, including modalities such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and family systems therapy, to tailor interventions to each client’s specific needs.
  • Empower clients with coping strategies and tools to manage life's challenges and transitions, enhancing their overall mental wellness.
  • Maintain strict adherence to confidentiality and ethical standards, ensuring a safe therapeutic environment.
  • Partner with clients to establish treatment goals and monitor their progress, adapting strategies as necessary to facilitate optimal outcomes.
  • Document each session diligently in a timely manner, contributing to comprehensive client care and facilitating seamless communication within the team.
Patient Population / Client Focus

At Hearts & Lives Counseling Services, you will work with a diverse client base, including individuals from varying cultural backgrounds and age groups seeking support for relationship issues, anxiety, depression, trauma, and other mental health challenges. Your role will be vital in addressing their unique life circumstances and facilitating personal growth within a supportive therapeutic context.

Qualifications
  • A Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related field is required.
  • Current and active LMFT licensure in the state of California is mandatory.
  • A solid understanding of therapeutic approaches and methodologies, including family systems therapy and cognitive behavioral therapy, is essential.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, along with experience in effective client documentation.
  • Proficiency in using telehealth platforms and other digital tools for therapy.

Compensation and Benefits
