Summary Description:

While reporting to theSupervisor,asa Skilled MachineOperator, youwill be responsible for operating all manufacturing equipment.Safety, quality, productivityandstrongwork ethic are important to the Toppan culture.

Location: Chillicothe, MO

Position: Machine Operator

Hours: Night Shift | 7:00 pm - 7:00 am ($2.00 shift differential)

Rate:$21.37 - $22.29 based on experience

What you'll be doing:

  • Responsible for the proper operation of the extrusion/thermoforming line.
  • Must have knowledge of plant processing equipment and have an aptitude for problem solving.
  • Must be able to properly set-up, start up, operate and shut down all production equipment.
  • Will troubleshoot and correct processing problems.
  • Record and share information with other team members to maintain quality and machine efficiency.
  • Perform quality audits.
  • Relieve inspector/packers.
  • Coordinate line requirements with other departments (Maintenance, Material Handling, and QA).
  • Must be proficient in all paperwork
  • Other duties as requested by Supervisor

  • 2 years of manufacturing experience
  • You must understand manufacturing and quality control
  • You can read, write and perform basis math
  • You have data entry skills
  • You can perform repetitious duties, including stairs and standing for long periods of time
  • You can lift up to 50 lbs.
  • You can stand, sit, reach, and bend
  • You can push/pull and handle product
  • You must be able to work in conditions that may include heat, humidity, and production noise
